Gay Marriage

Everyone has there own opinion when it has to deal with the topic of Gay marriage. Some are debating that it should be legalized while others believe it should not be. Over the years many people believe that same sex marriage should be banned , so what changed our minds as the years go by. Is it that our minds are now open to change? or, is it just to please people that do believe in same sex marriage? Based on many religions in the world today, may people strongly do not believe that gay marriage should be legal. According to the Christian faith same sex marriage is wrong. Many religious people use the story of Adam and Eve to show how God created woman for man and not man for man. This is a big controversy in the Christian faith because most homosexauls claim themselves to be very religious. So are we right to condemed them because they are gay? Many Christian churches around the country are now allowing same sex marriage. Would this be because law was passed in this particular state and they can not deny them the right? Or, Are they open mind? According to the bible, Genesis 2:24 states: "Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh."also in the book of Matthew 19:4-5, "He answered, "Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female," and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one’?" On May 9, 2012 , according to New York Times it was reported that President Obama believe that same sex marriage should be llegalized. He stated that “At a certain point, I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married,” Do you think the president actually believe in same sex marriage? Senator Bohner was one of the member that felt that same-sex marrige should be legalized, acknowledging that his son actual is gay. How would that effect the public? Nor his ideology of the issue? Many people around the world believe that sex marriage should be legal because it is fair for all individuals to have the same rights in society. According to a recent decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, in its ruling on the federal Defense of Marriage Act, the court said it is legal that same-sex couples receive the same benefits that are being provided to heterosexual couples.

Same sex marriage is very intresting because of the diffrent believes that people have. Some believe its wrong while others believe that everyone should be seen equal. This is not only a United States issue it has become very world wide issue as well. Many same sex couples are fighting for the right to marry the one they love. It is also very intresting because many young people around age 13-20 are very scared to even mention that they are gay, because they do not want to be judge by others. Although its legal in some states many are still fighting for it to legal acroos the board.

This topic will always be debated on whether it should be legalized or not. Are we limiting people of the First Amendmets right? Do we think this will every be legalized?
