Tragic of respected Naval Commander:
Eruption causes terror and destruction in bay of Naples.
A great explosions happened for an unknown reason about a week ago. The air became polluted and poisonous . The eruption caused the death of about 20,000 but most importantly the naval commander " Pliny the Elder". The bay of Naples is now a complete disaster.
At the bay of Naples in Italy a tragic scene happened, the huge mount Vesuvius erupted. The reason for the eruption is unknown however some people think that giants or gods were the cause of the eruption. Additional to the bay of Naples, another victim of explosion was the smaller seaside town of Herculaneum which is now covered with mudslides. Many people lost hope and never thought that the bay will be restored back to usual. People who could escaped would have escaped but others would have died from the poisonous air.
An eighteen years old boy called Pliny observed what happened from a safe distance away. "I cannot give a more exact description of the shape of the cloud than by comparing it to that of pine tree, for it shot up to a great height in form of a trunk which formed itself at the top into several branches. The cloud was at one moment white and at another moment spotted, as if it had carried up Earth and cinders". The clouds was overfilling the bay and people could hardly see in front of them.
"The gods got angry, I am sure I felt the ground moving before it happened, I had a feeling that everyone will die" said a survival.
"The sea sucked back, as if it was driven by the convulsion of the earth. Behind us, a black and dreadful cloud burst out in gusts of fiery, snakelike vapour. Now and again, the cloud yawned to reveal long, fantastic flames, like flashes of lighting, but much larger". The fire was over powered it killed nearly everyone and destroyed everything.
