1. Who are our targets and what do they currently think, feel or do in relation to the brand? The target market of Gatorade are individuals, male or female, who are engaged in an active lifestyle or engaged in sports. These individuals choose Gatorade over other sports drinks because of its taste and because of its many flavors available in almost all of the leading convenient stores, supermarkets & even drugstores (like Mercury Drug). It is thirst quenching. It promotes rehydration for it replenishes fluids, electrolytes & carbohydrates for working muscles. Gatorade fits the bill perfectly for it fulfills a need; at the same time, it also satisfies the want for something that isn’t dull. 2. What do we want them to think, feel or do as the result of advertising?
We want to make the potential buyers feel somewhat energized and ready to exercise on a whole new level once they have tested the new and improved Gatorade packed with carbohydrate that helps promote rapid fluid absorption and electrolytes like sodium and potassium. The ad also insists the athletes to go for the best with nothing but the best in them. 3. What is the most important insight that we want to exploit? Gatorade is for people with an active lifestyle
