Gaming Vs Console Research Paper
In the 21st century, gaming has taken over the world and has become one of the most popular time passers. One thing that has been making people’s minds go wild is the decision to play games on the computer or on the console. I have to say that gaming PC’s are the better way to go because of its many advantages they have over the consoles. First of all, gaming PC’s can play some of the games that consoles have. Most of the games even have better graphics on the computer than on the console. An example of this is Skyrim, one of the most popular games of all time. Another good thing about having a gaming PC instead of a console is the amount of power a PC has. The Falcon Northwest Tiki, for example, is one of the fastest running gaming desktops

In order to calculate the total price to purchase all the components required to build a state-of-the-art gaming computer, state-of-the-art must be defined. For the purposes of this program design, state-of-the-art is defined as a set of computer components that are capable of operating current games to a satisfactory level. A sample of minimum and recommended hardware requirements for modern games was taken and a baseline established for components that satisfy those requirements. Additional hardware was selected that exceeds the requirements to establish options representing mid-range and bleeding-edge components. These three sets of components were researched online to determine prices representative of what they would each cost individually. The total price of a state-of-the-art gaming computer is the sum of the price of each component bought individually. For the purposes of this program design, no account is made for discounts or package deals.…

To begin, the cost of a computer can fluctuate from a few hundred dollars, to a few thousand dollars. A Macintosh differs from a PC immediately because a Mac is built for media programs. When purchasing a Macintosh computer, there are only three types of systems. Apple offers the iMac, MacBook, and Mac Pro. Each one of these unique machines is prebuilt and increases the cost of the computer drastically. On the other hand, a PC can be purchased in a variety of ways. For example, shopping online you can buy a $700 desktop computer that will satisfy the average user for a few years. In addition, you can select and purchase expensive parts for a gaming computer. A $1,500 customized Personal Computer can be built to run any advanced game with ease. However, a $3,000 MacBook will not be able to function as well as the customized gaming PC, and may encounter problems. The cost of an Apple MacBook will always be more expensive because they are all prebuilt, unlike most Personal Computers. Self-building your own PC has become the cheapest method of all, and allows for interchangeable parts in the future.…

People see that a game is both on a Console and on a PC, so what should they do? You think they should get the one that makes them feel more comfortable. Yes that is a factor, but you also have to realize that PCs are far more advanced when it comes to gaming. When you look on the side of a computer game, normally you see the minimum and recommended system requirements, well there is a reason for that. Games are developed every day, and computers are outdated the second you buy the one you just bought, so games with better graphics need more power. Consoles are great, and have come a long way, but they can only handle a certain amount of power. With a console though, games are programmed to run at that particular speed, as it is far less complex to make a console game. Normally most of the information is on either a cartridge, or cd\laser disc. I will explain the difference's between playing a video game on a pc as opposed to a console.…

Getting this check not only marked the start of my career as a professional gamer, and allowed me to gain four of my closest friends to this day, but also it marked the day I became one of the youngest professional gamers in the world, with a salary.…
