For Trainees: Campcraft Kit 11 Safety Precautions
No dangerous items should be used.
Ensure cadets to get hydrated.
Water Parade: Water Parades will be conducted before and after each activity to ensure campers replenish their water lost. This will prevent any possible heat injuries, especially heat exhaustion. Campers are reminded to drink beyond their point of thirst and have their own water parades as and when they needed during the interval of the activities. A water point will be set up near the training area to allow campers to drink more water if needed as well as replenish their water in their water bottles.

The first step to conduct this experiment is to set up your ramp, whether it is a pool noodle or flexible pipe insulation. Adjust the ramp to the correct height you chose for this investigation. Next, place the 4 textbooks exactly 84 centimeters from the wall. Then place the cup exactly 40 centimeters from the 4 textbooks. Now it is time to start the actual experiment. Take your marble and place it at the top of the ramp. Let the marble roll to to end of the ramp and record whether or not the marble landed inside of the cup. Repeat these steps adjusting the height of the ramp as you go depending on where the marble lands. The data was used to determine what height was the best for the marble to land inside of the target cup. The data was analyzed by comparing the different heights to the number of times the marble landed in the target…

Procedure: In this lab we made twelve spitballs out of two-ply toilet paper. We did this by ripping the toilet paper and dipping it in a cup of water we then wadded them up so they would fit in a straw in order to shoot them. After we made these to fit we made a target with an 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper a compass and a sharpie. When the circle was drawn we put a miniature circle in the middle to serve as our center point. We then taped this onto a large piece of butcher paper so we could mark the spot that the spitball would hit. We measured 2 meters and shot the balls 4 times marking it each time. Then we moved forward to 1 meter and shot it another 4 times. After that we moved it to .5 meters and shot 4 more balls each time we measured the distance from the center point (or distance from each other when doing precision).…

Bouncing ball physics is an interesting subject of analysis, demonstrating several interesting dynamics principle related to acceleration. Almost everybody, at some point in their lives, has bounced a rubber ball against the wall or floor and observed its motion. Normally we don`t think about the details of bouncing balls physics too much as it`s fairly obvious what is happening, the ball basically rebounds off a surface at a speed proportional to how fast it is thrown. But what isn`t known to most is what is happening…
