POINT SYSTEM DURING ELIMS/ROUND ROBIN STAGE
We shall be adopting the point system during eliminations/round robin portion of the league. This means no more sudden death overtimes during eliminations/round robin. Points are awarded as follows for each match you play:
Win = +3pts to your team for each match won Loss = +0pts to your team for each match lost Draw = +1pt to your team for each match drawn
Ranking Tie Break Criteria #1 Difference of the total accumulated game scores by your team, subtracted by the total accumulated game scores scored against you by your opponent.
Ranking Tie Break Criteria #2 Quotient of the total accumulated game scores by your team, minus total games scores scored by your opponents against you
SAMPLE ELIMINATIONS SCORESHEET
The top 4 teams to move into the Semi-Finals would be: 1. National Team B 2. National Team A 3. National Team F 4. National Team D
DEFAULTING POINTS/TIME
A game score of 5pts is awarded to a team who wins by default. While 0 points are awarded to the defaulting team.
Match points of 3 to the winner and 0 for the loser by default will apply as well.
Defaulting Time: 10 minutes from the scheduled start of match.
OBJECTIVE:
To score as many points as possible within the Match Time. 1 point is awarded to a team each time they totally eliminate all their opponents’ strikers by:
1. Hitting an opposing striker with a ball 2. Catching a ball thrown by an opposing striker I. As an added bonus anyone of your team mates who is out (retrievers) can come back in as a striker unless: Your team already has 4
