My Personal Insights The traditional curriculum is the type of curriculum that is teacher –centered while progressive curriculum is the type of curriculum that is learner-centered. We can find out the best curriculum to be applied in the learners are both traditional and progressive as you can see the traditional curriculum is not suited to give the learners the kind of education that they must acquire but to allow learners to explore and discover the new things. My Analysis
1. Why do we need to consider the traditional and progressive points of view of curriculum? We need to consider the traditional and progressive points of view of curriculum to see the difference of the two and to be a guide of what the teacher uses to suit to the needs of the learners.

2. How do the different educational philosophies relate to the curriculum in the schools you visited? Cite examples / situations? The educational philosophies are related to the curriculum. They help achieve the aim of education such as to educate people, to develop their intellectual, mental capability, personality and the attitude of the learners.

3. Why is there a need to revise the curriculum from time to time? We need to revise the curriculum from time to time to sustain the needs of the learners because it changes the ability, skills and interest of the learners. My reflections / My Insights

Curriculum is an important thing in education. It refers to the all courses offered at a school. Curriculum is dynamic changing from time to time. It depends on the needs of the learner because as time passes by the attitudes and interests of the learner’s change. The traditional schools are being transformed into progressive schools which emphasize learner-centered. Through these, they can help learners to explore and discover new ideas or new things.
