FRUIT ENZYMES
I. Preparation
A. Choosing
1. You should choose the fruits that you like.
a. For example, if you desire to gain more different fruits enzymes or make the glass bottle more colorful, you can choose four or even more kind of fruits. There is no limitation. But, you must include one fruit, lemon. It helps to kill the bacteria of the drink.
B. Composing
1. The ratio of components should be 3, 1. It means 3 parts of fruits, 1 part of sugar. You can follow this ratio to determine the amount of fruit and sugar that you need.
a. For example, when you use 150grams of fruits and then 50grams of brown sugar you needed.
C. Cleaning
1. You need wash the fruits and remove their skin and seeds. For lemon, leave the skin on if you like a bitter taste of enzymes drink.
D. Cutting
1. You cut them into small pieces so that increases their surface area to attach the sugar.
E. Completely-drying
1. The fruits will turn moldy if they are wet. You have to air-drying them for at least ten hours that my experience told me.
a. For example, you can use microwave to ensure the fruits are totally dry. You place the fruit slice into the microwave oven in auto-defrost mode, the excess water will move out.
II. Placement
A. Three steps of placement
1. You arrange your sliced fruits at the bottom of the bottle.
2. You add the lemon pieces in a thin layer.
3. You put some one-to-third layer of brown sugar in.
B. Placement repetition
1. You repeat another two times, step by step, one layer fruit, one layer lemon, and one layer brown sugar.
C. Placement precaution
1. Remember, the final layer should be brown sugar to confirm the top fruit can attach to the sugar to get its enzymes.
2. And the ingredients should not be over 80% of bottle. As you need to provide some breathing space for the biological process to release the gas.
a. You do not want your creation to break or explode, do you? Therefore, do not make it 100% full.
