Friendly Letter to Teacher

Dear Ms/Mr ,
After a relaxing summer doing the things I wanted to do, I feel happy to know that I will be in a class where numerous challenges will become a part of each week. I look forward to having the opportunity of coming to know you and learn how you do things in your classroom. It’s not possible to learn all about me in one letter, but here’s my life, in a nutshell. Well, to start off, I’m thirteen years old, so not that many interesting things have happened to me. But I can start off with the basics. I live with my mom and dad, and my two lovely younger sisters. I also have a cat and a dog; Mishu and Lola. (They too, are members of the family) I would say I am very fortunate to have such an awesome family. There’s something different going on every day, and I wouldn’t be myself without them. So, who am I? I would describe myself as a perfectionist, a very competitive person, and an overachiever. I am also very sensitive. I love to learn, and I am curious about many things. I really don’t like when people “push my buttons”. I get really frustrated, and I tend to be “sassy”. Other things you have to know about me are that I play the flute, and I love anything that has to do with geography. I enjoy learning about different countries and mix of cultures. Is it weird that I want to travel to places like Italy, France, and Greece, but I’m not too fond of planes? In addition, I have a thing for crafting and creating stuff. There are so many things you can do and make yourself if you just try! I also roller skate, not professionally, but more like for a hobby. It’s a very neat thing to do, and personally I think it’s very fun. I enjoy writing very much, even though I’m not that great at it. But hey, practice makes perfect, right?
