My Introduction to Music Education class, MUE 200, required me to join the collegiate chapter here at the University of Alabama. But I do believe that it would be incredibly beneficial for me to join NAfME when I go out into the workforce, as it would connect me with a number of professionals who share the same specific teaching subject as me. It would also be beneficial to be connected to people who understand the specific stressors and issues of Music Education.
