Franklin D. Roosevelt's Horrific Tragedy At Pearl Harbor
Franklin D. Roosevelt begins by addressing the nation of it’s horrific tragedy that happened at Pearl Harbor. In order to convey this statement he provided all people with a brief summary on what happened the day before. In the opening of his speech, Franklin D. Roosevelt stated that the attack brought infamy to the nation. The first rhetorical strategy Roosevelt used would be Patho´s. He said ¨Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- the United States of america of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the empire of Japan¨.
