Have you ever heard about monsters? I’m sure that everyone in the world has heard about this term. Sometimes it's a fear of children, but it is also an exciting topic for the scientists and the science fiction film. Then a lot of books and movie was published about the monster. For me, the best novel about monsters that I read is Frankenstein. When we mention about monster, we usually think about the creature with a face with hideous appearance, rough skin, non-human being, bad smell... Besides that, people always stay away from it, treat them like the way that not human. But when you have read about the novel Frankenstein, i am sure that you won’t think that monster is really scary as people think. It also has heart and did not deserve such people treat Frankenstein was the novel written by Mary Shelley about a creature produced by an unorthodox scientific experiment. The author is also an English novelist, a short story writer, dramatist, essayist, biographer and travel writer. After that, the novel was retold by John grant in 18th century. But the origin Frankenstein is always the most as mysterious and exciting as the novel itself. The novel is a combination about romance, fiction and science. It also presented knowledge as dangerous and destructive due to the story about Victor and his amazing experiment. The novel also have a countless of techniques that’s make a wonderful story so readers can’t stop discover and imagine about it. The story started with Captain John Walton, a polar explorist, he and his crews has been trying todiscoverthe North Pole. Then they stackedin sheets of ices and they couldn’t continue their trip. Suddenly, they rescued a man fallen into the ice. That man was Victor Frankenstein, who was a main character in this novel. Victor was born into a wealthy family in Geneva.
