I dare you to make it throughout the day without touching a product associated with oil. Shifting our reliance on foreign fossil fuels to local energy sources in the United States poses many benefits. The oil and gas industry is one of the biggest industries in the United States. Fracking is the process of injecting water, sand and small amounts of chemicals into the ground, causing shale to crack, releasing natural gas. We don’t have a choice; we depend on fossil fuels every day to survive. Fracking provides many economic benefits that outweigh the disadvantages associated with the matter.
