Aromatherapy- The practice of using essential oils to advance relaxation from the sense of smell. This method usually use in many types of body work as a supportive relaxation method.
Hydrotherapy- According to Seaward, this type of method is apply when using the baths, hot tubs, Jacuzzis, and flotation tanks to increase the sense of touch to boost relaxation.
Pet Therapy- The physical contact with pets to stimulate relaxation with hospital patients, nursing home patients, and now everyday pet owners who claim better health through reduce resting heart rate and hypertension worth.
Therapeutic touch- “A type of energy-based healing modality using the science of subtle energy to restore homeostasis (also similar to Reiki and healing touch)” (Seaward 468).

They both help to promote relaxation physically and mentally. The number one thing I like about Swedish massage is that it reduces pain and that is a good thing; there is no need for pain killer most of the time if you practice this method.
