Foster Mom Case Study
Foster Mom, Kayla Jennings (15843 FM 1567W Cumby TX 75433) picked Gerimiah up from respite provider, Tammy Etheridge (104 Milligan St. Sulphur Springs TX 75482), today at around 1pm. Tammy voiced concerns for Gerimiah’s breathing and told her it appeared very rapid and unusual. Foster Mom observed Gerimiah’s breathing and felt that, although she had been told that rapid and heavy breathing was normal for a premature baby by the CPS caseworker, since the respite provider had concerns she was insecure about his medical status. Foster Mom, took Gerimiah to the emergency room at the Hunt County Presbyterian Hospital (4215 Joe Ramsey Blvd, Greenville TX). Gerimiah was seen by Dr. Winsteen. The Dr. told Foster Mom, that Gerimiah was not in any stress
