A)- Good morning ladies and gentelmen. Thanks for coming to our presentation. My name is Anastasiya Kurbatova and Ksenia Demidenko we are the official representatives of Adidas company. We are going to talk about our company.
K)- First, we will give you some basic information about Adidas. Then, we will talk about our stores. After that we will outline our major strengths. Next we’ll talk about career opportunities with Adidas. And finally we will talk abou our goals and future plans. We will be pleased to answer any questions at the end of our talk.
A)- Let me start with some basic information about Adidas. Adidas was founded in 1948 by Adolf Dassler. Adidas AG is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures sports clothing and accessories. Our headquaters are based in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. Besides sports footwear, Adidas also produces other products such as bags, shirts, watches, eyewear, and other sports- and clothing-related goods. Adidas is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Germany and Europe and the second biggest sportswear manufacturer in the world. Our customers are the people of all ages with an active lifestyle and appreciate the combination of beauty and comfort. There are a huge amount of our stores all over the world and all of them are profitable.
K)- Right, those are basic fact. Let me add a few figures. Our annual turnover of about 11,990 million euros. Our net profits last year were nearly 567 million euros.Our regular budget 8,000 per store. Thet include untilities ($1000), paying employees ($6000), delivering products to store ($500), marketing running promotions ($500). On December 31, 2012, the Adidas employed 46,306 people. Employees represent mix of cultures, ages and backgrounds. Women account for 50% of our employees. At our global headquarters, for example, we have employees from more than 70 nations. So, those are the numbers.
