"Flip or Flop– DIY Your Dental Hygiene Career: Design Your Own Action Plan” In Cindy Purdy's presentation she discusses the importance of ergonomics in the work place. She presents many different ideas of how to prevent injury by stretching inbetween patients and using more ergonomic instuments. What kind of injuries can happen because of the way dental hygienest sit and work was talked about quite a bit also. Some things that I found useful was the sadle seat. I have not seen one or heard about one. It was one of the main things that she talked about and seams like a great investment. Other valuable information that Cindy discussed was different kinds of instruments to use. Insturments that have a thicker handle and a good grip are better
