4 Tips for a Flawless Foundation
They call it foundation for a reason - it's the base of any great makeup look. However, sometimes it can be hard to master. Here are 4 game-changing foundation tricks so you always end up with a flawless finish.
Always use a foundation brush
First, always use a foundation brush. According to Makeup Forever, only 52% of women use a tool to apply their foundation. Ask any professional makeup artist and they will tell you the tool you use is of utmost importance in determining how good your coverage is. You might still be skeptical but check this out. For this example, we will use 3 oranges and apply foundation to them using 3 ways, namely with the fingers, then with a sponge and finally with a brush.
Can you see how much more even the coverage is when a brush is used? So make it your duty to use one if you already

Chooses a concealer that closely matches you skin tone. You can also go for one shade lighter as it will certainly look fake. The most important thing to note here is that you have to apply the concealer after the foundation in order to prevent the former from creasing. This will also use less product. You should at all cost avoid applying too many layers of concealer. For this process, remember that “less is more”.
Finish up your makeup using luminous powder.
Finally, to set the look, we will use luminous powder. They have the interesting ability to reflect light particles, making you skin look glowing and highly polished. Contrary to matt powders, this powder will not make your face appear dull and lifeless but will make it shine from within without looking too greasy. I am by no means saying that you should not use matt powders but you will surely find that luminous ones create a much more sophisticated and polished look.
As you can see, you don’t need to be a makeup professional to convincingly fake perfect skin. Try all these 4 tips and you’ll end up with the perfect

Use soft natural colors on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Browns, pinks and neutral are all appropriate choices. We do require that you wear mascara and lipstick or gloss. Remember, you never know when there will be a camera in your face. Do not clump your eyelashes with mascara. One to two coats of most mascara is more than enough. Wear lipstick or gloss, making sure to refresh the application throughout the day as needed. Wear a light blush for day and deepen the color for evening. Be sure to blend all makeup. When applied, makeup shouldn't appear as if you are wearing a mask. Orange faces and necks that appear to be a different color are not…

Make-up is one of my favorite things to do. I thought I knew so much about make-up but the truth is that I didn’t. There are so many things to learn about make-up. When I was at M.A.C Cosmetics in the Lehigh Valley Mall I learned so many new things. I even learned about what to do when the make-up is off your face. When a girl is using make up she should constantly be taking care of her face. She should be cleansing her face everyday twice a day, day and night. There are cleansers for different skin types. Milk or cream cleanser is for dry skin and a foam or gel cleanser is for oily skin. She should also tone her face, toners refresh, hydrate, and soften the skin. Toners should also be used twice a day everyday; after cleansing and before moisturizing. Moisturizing should also be done; oil free moisturizer is for oily skin and richly emollient cream is for dry skin. Moisturizer should have UVA and UVB protection. Exfoliating is also another thing to do after make-up is off the face. Exfoliating scrubs helps smooth the skins surface. Last but not least, masking; masking soothes the skin and draws out all of impurities that have been deep in skin. It should be applied at least once a week.…

You may proceed to apply to foundation to your face after you have let your face air-dry. The most important factor to applying foundation is to make sure the color of the foundation is a match to the color of your face. This factor is extremely important to those of you who have more pale of faces than those who bake in a tanning bed. Whether you choose to do either bake or white-out, you must not wear a color that is either too light or dark. After your face is covered in the best invention since toilet paper,…

First off choose a proper eye shadow color. This can be a little tricky especially if you are not familiar with the tones and hues that would flatter your face. Earth tones work for any skin type and if your skin tone is on the warmer side, beiges, gelds and browns are your best bets. Pretty much the same rule applies to people with cooler skin tones. The cool colors would include the grays and the blues. But remember, if you have dark circles beneath your eyes do not use dark eye shadows as doing so would only bring attention to the dark circles giving you a raccoon-like look. These are just simple eye make up tips for choosing a color that's perfect for you.…
