FITNESS PROGRAMME ASSESSMENT
Through this assessment students should be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of sports and health related fitness, methods of training, principles of training, types of exercises.

TASK

Design a fitness training program for yourself which you will execute during the first 6

weeks of the course. The program must include Cardio Fitness, Flexibility and two sports related components (example, Balance and Agility). Bonus points for anyone who adds information about and attempts to change their diet.

Designs a simple plan with some relevance to their fitness goals.
Has a simple method of tracking progress.
Uses basic terminology related to fitness training.
Is somewhat efficient and motivated in executing the plan.

6-8

Analyses their fitness needs and explains their motivation.
Designs an adequate plan which has relevance to their goals.
Has a sufficient method of tracking progress.
Uses training and anatomical terminology appropriately.
Is efficient but needs encouragement in executing the plan

9-10

Effectively analyses their fitness needs and expresses meaningful motivation.
Creates a detailed fitness plan that has clear relevance to their goals.
Has a well developed method of tracking progress.
Uses a wide range of training and anatomical terminology accurately.
Executes the plan efficiently with a high degree of self motivation.
