Finding Danny By Linzi Glass: Book Report
Finding Danny
Linzi Glass I just finished reading Finding Danny by Linzi Glass. Glass wrote this book by combining her love for animals with her love for writing.

In this book Bree has a beloved dog who gets away. Throughout this book
Bree will do anything to find Danny.Throughout the book she realizes she is loved more than she thinks she is. Linzi Glass was inspired to write this book by all of her rescue dogs she says “she couldn’t live without”. I loved this book because in a way it’s relatable. Everyone in their life feels misplaced or lost like Bree in this book. Also because of all the nail-biting adventure parts. I would recommend this book to ages 9 and up. And to both boys and girls. it would also be a

I am not sure if I really liked this book or not. I thought it was really good because of the lessons that were in it, they had a lot to say and their point was very evident. But the stories were all so sad, and it was depressing to read them. Just to hear how horrible…

I liked this book mainly because of how different it was compared to my lifestyle and how entertaining it was. Nikki turner didn’t really sugar coat much so I felt I was watching a movie and saw it for what it truly was. Like anyone’s guilty pleasure we all like reality television and it kind of reminded me of just that with fights and drama. The books good points that were how certain events that happen in one’s life good or bad really do shape a person into who they become. Teaching me to not be ashamed of what happens and to only use that circumstance as a motivation of some kind. For anyone that is interested in a gritty, suspenseful, and eye bulging book that keeps you wondering what’s next I would definably recommend this book to that someone willing to take a…

It has very tough issues and a lot of language. This would be a book for upper middle school to high school. This is a book you would have to be very careful with, you would need a lot of parent permission and a class/student that you could have great discussion with. However, that is not to say that it is not worth reading. I think that a lot of students today have a hard time backing down from an issue, even if it is meaningless, so this could really be relatable. Some strategies that could be used with this book include predicting, inferring, and making connections. I think that inferring could be a great strategy for this book because you can use the pictures and the text to find out what the author is really…

This book along with its series is nothing like I’ve ever read, seen, or heard about, and that is the reason why this book is very interesting. However as reading this book, I’ve come to realize that this story has several connections, and relations with my personal life. Out of many of…

Taking a second, and even third, look at the book is important in understanding what is happening throughout the story. Although though it only contains pictures inside, there is a story written well beyond in each of the illustrations that make it to be complex and intriguing. As I thought about it, I concluded that this would be a good book for older elementary students who have learned to analysis and evaluate images. This book is a good way to help students strength the skill of looking at something in front of them and being able to make sense of it. While they may need some help or guidance to understand the content fully, they will be able to understand, and maybe even find different ways of interpreting the story that we do as adult readers.…

This is a great book that shows friendship. For example, usually mice and cats are enemies. But in this book, the mouse and the cat are friends. And usually when you see a cricket in the streets, what would you do? If I was in that situation, I would say “Ewww,” and run away. But Mario accepted Chester as a pet regardless of what Mama and Papa Bellini said. The book has no enemies between the characters, which makes it appropriate for all ages. But since it is not a picture book, I do not recommend it to kids under six years old. But once you read the book, you will get sucked into the book like me, and not put it down!…

After reading your book, I began to realize that things aren’t always as they appear. It makes you question what genuinely happens in people's lives. They may look delighted on the outside, but what's truly going on in the inside? I used to believe my friend’s life was exceptional. She had the clothes, the family, the house, and even horses. Nevertheless,…

Sometimes I would cry, sometimes I would laugh and others I would get upset with the decisions that the Wes`s and the people around them made. One of the biggest issues in this book that is really important to me was the educational system in this book in my opinion the teachers really could’ve made a difference in both of those kids lives because as a student who believes in education I believe my previous teachers have made a huge impact in my life. One of my favorite parts in the book is when Wes (the author) is getting ready to jump out of the plane, he contemplates his life and the person he wants to become and then starts to think of all of the people that impacted his life and that caused him to realize that he wants to stay at Valley Forge and attend junior college. I like this part because it shows how much he grew and he is recognizing how much the people in his life have impacted…
