In 1907, Eugène Schueller, a young French chemist aged only thirty, invested world's first non-toxic hair dye formula called Auréale, and thus created the Paris L'Oreal Group in the industry of cosmetics. (Jones, 2010) For more than a century, L’Oreal devoted energy and expertise totally to meeting the diversity of the beauty desires towards men and women ethically and responsibly.

Why choose it?

The desire to look attractive is universal. As a 23-year-old graduating girl, never before had I felt myself so powerfully attracted to pursuit of beauty and fashion. I long for maintaining a youthful and beautiful appearance all the time and I look forward to committing myself to fulfilling beauty desire from people of all ages as well. I will feel a strong sense of achievement if women from all age groups are delighted with their beauty when they choose and use my company products. Therefore, the reason why I identify the beauty field as my desired working industry is of longstanding. The L’Oreal Group is the world’s largest and professional cosmetics and beauty company. Besides, L’Oreal is recognized as an outstanding example of ethical companies, indicating strong social responsibility and corporate ethics, which attracts me most among numerous cosmetic companies.
