Final Reflection
I have come to learn that we all possess caring minds, listening skills, sincere attitudes, and the utmost willingness to clarify things. I believe that I can develop those effective communication skills further as I work as a teacher. My biggest concern is the parents rejecting my sincere attitude to improve communication in and out of the classroom environment, and in doing so, refuse to listen or abide to classroom rules. Although I am not sure whether the four characteristics of the effective communication skills can resolve any conflicts with angry parents, I would like to experiment with each aspect, especially because no one is the same. Therefore, building a trustful, symbiotic relationship with the parents in the beginning

    Effective communication is very important in building a positive relationship with children, young people and adults. Firstly if we do not communicate then how can any kind of relationship form and develop.     The experience of completing this extended task was very intriguing and unique compared to the other activities we have completed throughout the year. I found it quite enjoyable to incorporate three unique and diverse characters from three unique and diverse pieces of literature into a meaningful composition of literature. The hardest part, in my opinion, was to come up with an original idea. Deciding which characters to select and how to make them interact was challenging and was not a smooth process.
