Final exam format, SPA 101 All accent marks will count as ¼ pt. on the exam, whether they are missing or misplaced.
1. Listening: You will hear a paragraph 3 times, but no more than 3 times. There are five statements that must be finished with information from the paragraph. There are 3 choices.
Example:
Rogelio hace ejercicios en
a. El club b. en el gimnasio c. en su casa.

2. Definite articles: You will see five nouns. In front of each noun, write the correct Spanish word for ‘the’. Example:_______ conductor. You write ‘el’. Be sure to study the irregular ones that don’t end in ‘o’/’a’(el, la, los, las)
3. Indefinite articles-just like definite articles, except you write the word for ‘a’ or ‘some’ in front of the word(, un, unos, una, unas)

4. SER: Read the paragraph and write the correct form of SER in each blank.

5. Telling Time: Write the indicated time in a complete Spanish sentence. Be sure to include the expressions for am or pm as indicated. Example: You see: 10:10 a.m. You write: Son las diez y diez de la mañana.

6. The Present tense of –ar. –er and –ir ending verbs: Read each sentence completely, then write the verb in parentheses in the correct form. Some verbs may not need to be conjugated, so know when to conjugate and when not to conjugate.

7. Forming Questions: You will be given some statements, after which a type of question is indicated. You must write a question of the type indicated, that can be answered by the statement given. Inverted question marks at the beginning will count, accent marks matter.

Study all three types of Questions from Lesson 2, how they are structured. Study the interrogative words.

Example: Tengo dos exámenes hoy. (interrogative question). You might write: ¿Cuántos exámenes tienes hoy?

8. The Verb ESTAR: You will be given some sentence fragments. From those, write a complete Spanish sentence using the verb ESTAR. Study the phrases with ESTAR
