NORTHERN SAMAR ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (NORSAMELCO) BRGY. MAGSAYSAY, BOBON NORTHERN SAMAR

Minutes of the 22nd ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY OF NORTHERN SAMAR ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.( NORSAMELCO) HELD ON December 12, 2010 at Chinese Chamber of Commerce Hall at Catarman N. Samar.

1- PRELIMINARY MATTERS: The preliminary program started at exactly 1:30 pm and was officially announced by IRMA Y. ORQUIN (MDS Head) and JOSEPH PEDERIO ( Information Officer) who served as a Master of Ceremony of the assembly Meanwhile Mr. Danilo Villanueva ( Audit Staff) led the Invocation and followed by the National Anthem.

11- SPEECHES/ REMARKS BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S PRESIDENT, ARTURO C. BALLICUD delivered his welcome address. He emphasized in his remarks that the commitment of NORSAMELCO is to address the reliability of the transmission system in the entire province of Northern Samar to deliver quality electric service to the member consumers. Moreover, ENGR. SALVADOR G. HERNANDEZ, General Manager of NORSAMELCO introduced the Guest Speaker. HON. LAZARO BALLESTA, Northern Samar 1st District Board Member delivered his keynotes address to the member consumers. In his remarks he expressed his outmost support to the cooperative to imposed its services .Furthermore Hon. Lazaro Ballesta informed the member consumers that the petition filed by NORSAMELCO for immediate rehabilitation of Northern Samar’s reclassified sub-transmission line must be approved to deliver better services. He further discussed that the solutions are identifiable, NORSAMELCO will be able to confront these challenges and henceforth operate as an efficient service COOP through excellent management in corporate concerns with the committed leadership of
