The setting shows that Jack Fuller (Ashton Kutcher) and Hater (Rob Corddry), who plays their lawyer have are already friends,qho plan a trip to get away because Jack lost his job at his Dads shop.They Plan a trip to Vages were Joy McNally (Cameron Diaz) and her friend Kelly also plan to go on a trip to Vegas because of a break up. They are put in the same room and make bets on a few drinks on who can drink more and have more fun the two Jack and Joy end up getting Married In Vegas were Jack win big on the quarter Joy put in the gabbling machine therefore she does not think he gets it all to himself jack because what his is hers.It is quite a funny scene. I think the way the way they talk to each other and then have tko move in with each other and to get a divorce they have to be together months watch in that six months they fall in love with each other and never want each other to find out. The choices in the lighting of the room, and the looks they give each other when Joy has to move in with Jack when she sees how Jack lives like a pig. You can see the mood change in both of them as they have to see each other’s stuff every day.

If I am interpreting this question correctly I would say that the cinematography within this scene explains the trials that a relationship would have been if they didn’t get the help from the judge and having to go to counseling .
