Film Analysis: The Passion Of The Christ
The Passion of the Christ, How it deviates from Scripture The Passion of the Christ is a movie based upon the last hours of Jesus' life. Though not all of what is potrayed in the movie is historically correct according to scripture. This set their central theme on the torture and crucifixion. The central theme of the four gospels is salvation and how Jesus taught, the intent of the movie deviates from scripture. The first devation of the Scripture compared to the movie is that Jesus is shown to be afraid. In the movie Jesus prays in the garden of Gethsemane " Father, you can do all things. If it is possible let this chalice pass from me... But let your will be done, not mine. Hear my Father... rise up, defend me...save me from the traps
