Film Analysis: King Kong
The movie King Kong debuted in the U.S on December 17th 1976. It was directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. The movie was written by James Ashmore Creeman and Ruth Rose. The featured actors included Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, Bruse Cabot, and Frank Reicher. King Kong is an american classic because it portrayed the beauty and the best concept. The beauty being the pretty blond haired Fay Wray and the beast of course being King Kong the ape like monster ruling on his island full of natives fearing his every move. In the movie an adventures filmmaker who is played by Robert Armstrong takes his crew on a dangerous voyage to uncharted watchers in search of the mythical ape monster who the natives call King Kong. One of the smaller ones but one that drives the romance of the story would be beauty of simplicity. If one looks at how simple Fay Wrays character is in the way she acts, she's a pretty face but isn't presented with much of an attitude she's just there to look pretty literally. How simple it was that she was found on the streets by …. and she happen to want to be in his movie as a pretty just for her looks and her bravery for going on such an adventure. Her beauty captured many, her demeanor even won the captain's heart towers the end of the voyage to the island. Without even trying she made him fall in love with her, there was just something about her she couldn’t resist. Another reason the beauty of simplicity is a noteworthy theme is for the reason that even the monster ape King Kong was captured by Fay Wrays appearance and beauty. Kong kept her safe by battling off several other island pretenders never letting harm befall her.
