Filipinas Reaction Paper
III. Communication Process with These Filipinas
From the very beginning that God created the world and humanity; He has not stopped communicating His divine will to His created beings. Humanity can even distinctively recognize God’s spiritual existence and power with all the things that is surrounding them (Natural Theology). Not only that,, God has even provided humanity with His word, the Bible, in order that He can guide and lead humans to the truth (Written Theology), in the same manner that God had chosen people to represent His cause, He also assigned His priests to participate and serve the divine duties in the temple to facilitate the worship of the people and furthermore mightily called His prophets to constantly speak of His message

Thus, I am curious to know where these Filipinas rest the foundation of their lives; So, I interviewed them about this and almost all of them said that their family is the foundation of their existence. Therefore, I have made them aware that God is the fundamental foundation of human life and existence, as the Lord and creator of all things; I told them that if human’s life and existence is not founded in God, it is nothing. God is truth; He speaks and everything came into being. Apart from this truth is counterfeit. Thus, since the lives of the Filipinas in the church are firmly established on the foundations of the world, their truth is very unstable. This is because their belief system is not based on the truth of God, but of themselves,. Therefore, I have asked them to examine their lives well and to ever ponder in their hearts, how God has been blessing them ever since they were born, especially when they started to fear and obey God in their lives. What differences have they …show more content…
Thus, to strengthen them of their convictions as Christian, and not to give up when they fall into any temptations. I again shared with them the inspiration that I personally received from God to give them courage to keep fighting for God to victory. So I said, “With my spiritual journey with God, many times I get to stumble into sin like them. In such case, God knew my difficulties to get back on my feet again to continue with Him out of guilt. My conscience is crippling my heart and my mind unable to make another to step to pursue God. As a human being, I am desperately weak not to sin against God. One time, I stumbled again. This time I did not have an inch of courage to get back on my feet to continue my walk of faith over again. I was giving up my faith fight with Jesus, but God’s reassuring voice came to me. Convincingly He told me in an encouraging tone, “Don’t stay slammed down on your sin, but instead get on your knees and say a prayer of repentance, and after that, move to summon your courage to stand up again and again and again for my sake when you fall. Do not let Satan cripple you with His lies. Pick yourself up and do what is best for I will always with you to empower you. For as long as you courageously stand for me when you stumble, we both give Satan a solid blow on his face to knock him off. However, the moment you finally give up, that will be the end of my battle

Part One of Elmer Towns’ Concise Bible Doctrines introduces Christian theology by outlining the key pieces of the doctrine to help the reader understand Christianity and faith. Towns begins by saying that the main purpose of Bible doctrine is to communicate the gospel to the people at a point of need. Every man has the same need because every man is cut off from God. Man is born with a sin nature, and because he is less than holy, he is isolated and alienated from God. Death is imminent for everyone, but God communicates through the Bible that through Jesus Christ, man can be saved. The word “gospel” means “good news.” It is the responsibility of every Christian to reach out in relationships to the unsaved in sharing this news, and to other Christians in fellowship. Christians are called to seek God, and study the Bible to learn to know Him better, and worship Him always. Proper worship of God requires faith; the source of which is the Bible. Doctrinal faith is the beginning and the test of Christianity. If our statement of faith is wrong, than our faith is misplaced. Our faith must be grounded on correct knowledge of God. However, intellectual knowledge of God is not enough. Emotional expression and volition are equally important. The Holy Spirit acts on behalf of Jesus Christ to plant faith in a Christian’s heart. He indwells us, and helps us exercise our faith daily. We can grow in our faith by studying God’s word, seeking the Lord, confessing sin, actively following biblical principles, and constantly communicating with God. Faith is ultimately a reliance and trust of God, and the Bible teaches us to rely on Him for everything.…

Held on May 15 of every year, the Pahiyas Festival is carried out to give thanks to San Isidro Labrador for the good harvest. It is one of the country’s oldest festivals tracing its origin way back to the 16th century. Back then, farmers bought food to the foot of Mt. Banahaw as a sign of Thanksgiving, but eventually this tradition — done in the hopes of having a good harvest year — was modified to make the church the central offering place.…
