The two religions I am going to write about are Hinduism and Islam and I am also going to talk about the architecture of both the religions. Hinduism:
Hinduism is an inimitable religion among the world and nobody knows when it came into existence. It is a religion that is followed in India by most of the people which was established four thousand years ago and it is the third largest religion in the world. It is well renowned now all over the world and due to this reason India has another name that is “Hindustan”. Majority of the language spoken in India is Hindi by the Hindus.

Architecture of Hinduism:
“Hinduism is a richly visual tradition, illustrated by its paintings, sculpture, and distinctive rangoli (Colors) patterns. Hinduism is additional than just a religion; it is a way of life” this is a true statement. Hindu architecture is based on “Vaastu shastra” which is the knowledge of structure. Vaastu means a building, structure or impression of a something. There are lots of books related to Vaastu shastra, which helps to build or buy a home and any other building. Hindu architecture has two types of buildings: religious buildings and non-religious buildings like civic buildings, residential buildings and commercial buildings. In vaastu shastra design of building is a matter of deep concern. Vaastu shastra is similar to Chinese art Feng Shui. If the construction of building is done in a wrong way it can cause unhappiness, diseases and other troubles. Energy Flow:

Vastu Shastra is an earliest science energy flow throughout the house/office/factory that allows inflow of fresh air and natural light that promotes health, wealth, peace and happiness. Vaastu shastra originated from the law of nature. The directions of East and West are important as far as it is connected to the energy from the sun. North and South directions lies in the flow of charming waves which flows from North Pole to South Pole. As a result, south portion should be higher than the north portion. For clarification please see the picture below .

Principles of Vaastu Shastra:
Everything that exists in the universe, including our bodies, is made of five elements. In Hinduism, first idea is that world is sign of the body of the god, more precisely; the world is a body of god. Sacred structure like temple is not a home of god, but actually it is a body of god. The second principle concerns the relationship between the macrocosm and microcosm. In this, a tiny structure is compared to the large universe. And in last, the third principle teaches the part always contains within itself the whole. In olden times, people generally create the buildings according to the rules of Vaastu shashtra and people lived peacefully.

The main Five Elements of Vaastu Shastra are:
Earth:The selection of site for construction is very important. Besides, pleasant environment, vegetation and availability of water should be there. It encourages towards a feeling of peace and harmony with the entire world.Water:The need of everyone. As far as the flow of home water is concerned, it should be kept in mind and that such water should be flown out towards North - East. Tube wells, swimming pools etc. should all built in the North-East. The water from the toilets and bathrooms etc. should be drained out in the North- East. The North-East direction is always fortunate and right for water.Fire:Fire is the dynamic force behind all life processes and...
