Fifteen Minutes
My fifteen minutes of fame

How will I describe my fifteen minutes of fame? Well I like to think outside the box. My day would start off as any other day. I would wake up, eat my plain frosted flakes and be off to school. While I am driving on the road, I would happen to see a homeless man on the side of the street. He is of course sitting on a box holding a sign saying “please spare a dollar, god bless”. Being the nice person I am, I parked my car on the side of the street walked towards him and I do just as that. I gave him the dollar but instead of saying thank you, he said “you are the only one who stopped and gave to me, so for that I’m going to help you out”. In my mind I’m thinking how this homeless man is supposed to help me. As I turned to walk away I hear a box open, when I looked back the man was holding a box full of cash, men with cameras came out from the trees, and he stood there and said “ This is the show giving back for the givers on the network ABC”. This is when my fifteen minutes begins. As I was handed the money, I was escorted on the limo and beside me was none other than Chris brown. My heart drops as he said to me, “would you like to go on tour with me”. I said yes and we arrived at the Richmond coliseum and millions of people were lined up to see me oh and Chris brown. As we walked on stage he handed me the microphone and I sung with him to his single please don’t judge me. I was having the time of my life until I saw the man tapping his watch. I ran off the stage leaving Chris brown to his fans. I asked the man why he tapped his watch. He told me” this show only is fifteen minutes and we have a lot to do before then”. I walked outside and I see cameras flashing, reporters asking me questions and a women and a black suit staring me down. I walked towards her and she said we have only three minutes to get her into a Louis Vuitton dress and hills. I had no idea what was going on until I was rushed into a plane heading to a run way in a

An attribute to fame is building a connection. Without connecting no feeling can emerge and no impact can be made. This is relevant to artists, singers, and even writers. What makes a writer successful is the connection they establish with the reader. To do so, they have a great quantity of tools, but the preponderance is rhetorical appeals. In the videos, “Drunk History – Claudette Colvin and Rosa Parks”, “Drunk History – John Adams vs. Thomas Jefferson”, and “Breaking News: Some Bullshit Happening Somewhere”, the usage of logos, pathos and ethos varies, resulting in each video having a different impact.…
