This is because they are a very new product. Fidget toys, such as stress balls and thinking putty, have existed for a very long time, but many people wanted something new. First there was the fidget cube that became somewhat popular for a short period of time late in 2016. Its popularity came to an end when people grew uninterested with the cheap plastic cube with buttons on it. Shortly after the popularity of the fidget cube started to fade, the fidget spinner first started showing up to take its place. This is because while the fidget cube did give you something to do, it wasn’t actually very fun or exciting to use. In the case of fidget spinners there is a lot more to look at. Unlike the fidget cube, many of these spinners are being customized or even custom made from scratch. The visual appeal of the spinner is much more than that of the cube. 2.) My assessment of the process Spin Masters has used to get to this point is, they are really good at developing good relationships with retailers, investors and have in-depth knowledge of research and development of various toys. Spin Masters has expertise in developing low technology “fad” toys and distributing them to retailers quickly. Spin Masters lacks engineering and manufacturing capabilities and therefore it’s necessary to outsource both. The company used their own “grassroots marketing” campaigns to stimulate interest in their toys.…

Sensory play and sensory devices have been around for a while now, and have been manufactured in order to help create a sensory input to calm and focus children with ADHD, ADD, or autism. Furthermore, are fidget spinners productive or are they just a distraction. Now, I tend to fidget a lot, I press my fingers against my palms, twiddle my thumbs, and sometimes, have a hard time focusing. This is only when i’ve been sitting a desk for a while, and I constantly feel the need to be doing something productive, or I feel like i’m wasting my time. The science behind fidgeting actually isn’t very complex. Said by Roland Rotz, “If something we are engaged in is not interesting enough to sustain our focus, the additional sensory-motor input that is mildly stimulating, interesting, or entertaining allows our brains to become fully engaged and allows us to sustain focus on the primary activity in which we are participating.” For example, If you are fully engaged in watching a baseball game in the bottom of the 9th, I’ll bet you're not fidgeting a lot because you're focused…

The trebuchet is a large machine of the trebuchet family formerly used as a siege weapon and now for history reenactment, recreational or engineering purposes. It was formerly one of the most powerful weapons in history, being able to fire a projectile to a distance of up to three hundred yards accurately. It consists of a lever arm laid across a supporting crossbeam (the fulcrum), a heavy counterweight on one end, and a sling on the other. The sling would hold the load (projectile) during battle and eject it on operation of the lever arm. The weight end is usually about a fourth of the length of the resistance end, as the counterweight would be more than four times heavier than the projectile for maximum accuracy and power. Usually, a group of soldiers would hold the longer end and the sling down to keep the counterweight in the air, then let go, resulting in the counterweight falling due to gravity and propelling the projectile forward as it leaves the sling. Due to the projectile flying in a high arc, it can bypass most castle walls and attack the defenders or destroy the walls with its power, making it an effective and often used siege weapon in various wars during the Middle Ages.…
