HOW A MATH WIZ BORN IN THE 12TH CENTURY IN ITALY, EDU-CATED IN NORTH AFRICA, SON OF A DIPLOMAT HELPED MY FINAN-CIAL LIFE. What is a Fibonacci number? The simple definition is when added together it equals the next number. The Fibonacci numbers are: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 and so on. In my indicators that I use I always try to use a Fibonacci number, but sometimes the numbers that I use in the charts are not Fibonacci numbers. Why is that? The reason is that I believe you should use the Fibonacci whenever possible but you have to be aware of all the other traders in the market and the numbers they use. For example, if I have 50 day moving average and 200 day mov-ing average you will notice that these are not Fibonacci numbers …show more content…

    The Fibonacci principle is often defined as the Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci sequence starts at 0 and then the next number is found by adding the two numbers before it. This sequence is seen in sunflower through their seed arrangement; other flowers also show the Fibonacci sequence in the number of petals the flowers have.
