What I’m afraid of the most in The Paranormal activity movie is that the family is possess and ends up dead. The quite seen, before the whole kitchen rattles. Having you wife being taken over by a demon and losing your kids. There is nothing that you can do to save them. Have done my own research and have included pictures of at the end of this paper. The purpose of fear is to protect us from danger. Without fear, people would end up jumping into the deep end of a pool or even jump into an active volcano. If we are always afraid of everything and anything we will end up living our life’s in a basement apartment. Never go outside and have someone gather our food, water and clothes. Not being able to drive a car, fly a plane or even going to the movies. Getting to experience all of this and having minimal fear is worth the risk. Sweat along with my body heat rapidly rising. As I’m watching the movie is when I’m experiencing these emotions and fears. The movie was that well written, that I feel as though I’m part of the family that is being affected by what is going on. Along with loud noises or someone touches me and I would be like I was back in Iraq when the bombs started hitting and gun fire.
The film maker utilize my senses to incite an emotional response by showing a normal American family affected by a demon. Everyone expect for the mother was innocent. When she was a child she made a deal with a demon, that he could have her first born child. Later on in life the demon comes to claim his prize and Divides the family one by one.
