Best Self in College
As I entered my new life as a college student I had no idea what to expect. It is something that you have to enter not knowing if you are prepared or not. Finding out who you are is about experiencing what college has to offer. My best self can be accomplished easily if I keep my mind on the right track. I will go to class and work my hardest to make the best grades that I can. To me listening and taking in what the professor has to say is highly rewarding. Most people don’t show up because they think it is pointless. I feel a bit of confidence in myself knowing I obtain the will to dedicate myself to my studies. I usually make it a goal to try something new each week or two. Last week I went over to rec center to see what it had to offer. I fell in love with the facility and really got into going to the classes and using their work out equipment. It not only makes me healthier but I feel better and look better. I will continue to get involved, meet new friends and get involved in social activities. Getting involved in college has many rewards and I will continue to find them.

In my next for years here at SIU I will dedicate myself to earning my bachelors degree in Biomedical science and getting into PA school. While doing so I will participate in many social and academic events. During my time, I will make it my goal to improve myself as a person and as a student. I will make professional relationships with my professors and mentors and seek them when I need assistance. While learning all that I can, I will apply it to my life and become a successful young woman.
