For me the fall is an exhilarating time of year. A time of change, an in-between period of muddled and varied weather. For others who view fall as a short time before a dreary winter, fall takes on a less colorful face. Alfred Lord Tennyson uses fall metaphorically throughout "The Lady of Shalott" to illustrate how the Lady of Shalott's life (or lack thereof) progresses.…

The days have gone fast in the East. If the wind were not so strong, I would not have realised that it was already the end of October. Well, I suppose that being a Westerner who lives in the East merely confuses me without much excitement. Only the weather reminds me of the differences between days. However, it is a bit odd to say, but somehow the chilly days remind me of the spring. The laughter and joy of the children in the park made felt a pinch of jealousy as they could enjoy their lives while I had to struggle with my studies. The park seemed more peaceful than ever with the fresh green grass and clear blue clouds filling the background.…

My favorite season ever is spring. I like spring because its never too hot and never too cold. I choose spring as my topic, because it is my favorite and because I love the things about this season. I love how one day it can be warm and beautiful and the next it can be rainy and cool.
