It's always hard for me to answer the question "what is my favorite movie?". I find it's very hard to pick a single favorite movies, because there are so many good ones.Movies have become a fundamental part of our lives and culture. And as a teen, i'm obsessed with Disney. My latest film experience was Frozen. Frozen is a new release animal film by Disney. It is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The movie tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged, thrill-seeking mouton man, his reindeer, and a helpless snowman to find her estranged sister. The movie start with one night; Elsa, princess of Arendelle, she has a power which she is able to produce ice, frost and snow. While playing with Anna, her sister. She accidentally injures Anna. The king and queen went to troll king for help. He heals Anna and removed her memories of Elsa's magic. For their safeness, the king and the queen isolates them in their Castle until Elsa learns to control her power. And afraid of hurting Anna again, Elsa locks herself in her room alone. This cause a rift between them as they grow up. Unfortunately, the queen and the king passes at sea during a storm. when they are just teenagers. At the Conation of Elsa, Anna explores the town and meet Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. Soon they found attractive from each other. They went to Elsa, Elsa refuses their marriage. The sister argue, culminating exposure of Elsa's power. Elsa ran away and flee the castle and accidentally unleashing an eternal winter on the kingdom. Anna ran toward Elsa and meet iceman Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. Soon they meet up with Olaf; the childhood snowman made by Elsa. Anna and Elsa reunited, but still fears hurting Anna, Elsa becomes agitated and again accidentally strikes Anna in the heart. Kristoff seeks her to Troll king. Only "act of true love" can help her alive. Believing that Hans can save her, They go back to Arendelle.

I chose to view the movie Shrek which was produced in 2001. Having two small children, it is important for me to understand the value of what my husband and I allow them to view. To many, Shrek is simply a cartoon about a green ogre and a donkey, but Shrek has so much value. This movie can teach us important life lessons if we can open our eyes and see them.…

In Fannie Flagg’s esteemed novel, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café, characters and lessons from both the past and present inspire our main character, Evelyn Couch, to make changes in her life. The epitome of middle-aged misery and menopausal depression, Evelyn learns lessons from the stories and advice given to her by characters such as Mrs. Virginia ‘Ninny’ Threadgoode help her lift the veil of gloom cloaking her and aid her in reestablishing her dreams and goals – such as gaining a healthier and happier marriage with her husband, Ed, or losing all her unnecessary pounds. What sparks her journey to this better life, one she can actually look forward to at night rather than considering suicide, are the stories of a small Alabama town in the 1930’s and the residents who fight for happiness in a difficult time; Evelyn takes these stories of times past and uses the morals and advice given by Ninny to face each of her problems and attack every day with confidence. The transformation Evelyn embarks on is a sign of how strong she, or anyone, can be when their head is in the game, and as we see Idgie still selling her foods at the end of the book, we conclude that the past can live on even into the present.…

Snow White’s story starts out like most. Once upon a time, in a peaceful kingdom, there lived the most beautiful woman that ever was. She was married to the kingdom’s most handsome ruler. The king and queen were very much in love and soon after courtship they were expecting a child. Pregnancy was not what the beautiful queen expected. She had aches and pains, swelling, and she gained weight everywhere. One night, deep into her pregnancy, the queen felt sharp pains in her stomach. She woke up her husband in a rush – the baby was coming. As the pregnancy had been, the delivery was painful. The queen suffered hours of contractions and labor. The king was by her side the whole time; while he was not happy that his love was in pain, he was excited…

Compared with oriental people’s implicit quest for freedom and truth, people in western countries are more direct which means that they pursue their goals through practice. The book, Into the Wild, tells a story about a guy who had a philosophical journey. The book shows a process of a person’s spiritual growth: from the yearning for the absolute freedom, a kind of irrepressible impulse and force, to the yearning for the happiness. Maybe, at beginning, what Chris McCandless pursuing was the happiness, but he hadn’t realized it yet. But finally, he realized it.…

In chapter 5 of our book, it discusses aspects of cinematography, which included character blocking and film space. Film space calls attention to aspects of the film that the filmmaker wants the viewer to pay attention to. The way the shot is framed, is done to move the attention of the audience to a specific person or object within the shot. Blocking has to do with the location of the character within the frame. The placement of the characters can give them more importance, and can let the audience know a lot, about who is superior. Film space and blocking are both aspects of cinematography. The framing structure/distance, film space, shot duration, and lighting are all part of the overall cinematography. All of these things can determine the feel of a film. Reservoir Dogs is a film that is heavily based on the dialogue. Tarantino definitely has his own scriptwriting style. Most of the film takes place in a warehouse building, with the men going in and out. Besides the flashbacks that occur due to the non-linear structure of the film, the majority of the film takes place in a single room. Aside from the strong dialogue, what makes the film so unique and helps support its dramatic narrative, and advance its themes are the cinematography and blocking that was used in the film.…

Fried Green Tomatoes is a thoroughly enjoyable movie-going experience, replete with laughter, tears, triumph, and tragedy. Unfortunately, it has been sanitized and "Hollywoodized,” with the relationship between the two 1930 female leads left ambiguous, and a few too many scenes going over-the-top to manipulate an emotional reaction. So, while providing two-plus hours worth of solid entertainment, director Jon Avnet's picture, adapted from Fannie Flagg’s novel, lacks the crucial ingredient that would have lifted it above the level of a tearjerker to that of the extraordinary.…

Frozen shows that women can be powerful, as seen with Else and her powers. This movie also shows the girl can be the hero of the story, when Anna sacrifices herself to save her sister. Hans and Kristoff show two different sides of men, the first being secretly and manipulating and the other being goofy, and compassionate yet still a hero. Snow White is your stereotypical female.
