Farewell Speech (Coomunications)
Hello, I’m ....... and today I would like say farewell! Today I will talk to you about my freshman year or as I call it the rough times. Then I will tell you about my sophomore to senior year and all of the changes in my life. Then I will tell you about what I would like to do in my future. So let’s get started.
All started freshman year. I came into the school and not really knowing much. I didn’t know many people and I just didn’t really like people. I just wanted to be my own person and didn’t really care where I fit in. Besides, it’s better to be yourself than to pretend to be someone else. I only had a couple friends but it was really all that I needed. People come and go so it’s not really a big deal to me. Then sophomore year came and my views all changed. Sophomore year I feel like my life changed the most. I really didn’t care for much at all, and I didn’t really let anything bother me. I was still nice and respecting to everyone, but if you didn’t have my respect you would know it. I pretty much was able to get along with everyone now and it seemed like more people were starting to know of me and most people like me. Since I really didn’t care what people thought, I was friends with everyone. It doesn’t matter your clique. If I think you’re chill I don’t care what anyone else thinks. This was pretty much my life from sophomore year to now. Id like to be a teacher when i grow up, and If not that, I would like to enlist in the army and see where my life goes from there. No matter where my life goes I will always remember this speech and see where my life actually went from when I wrote this. I hope I can do something successful in life but if not, oh well. Today I talked about my freshman year, Then I told you about my life changing experiences in my other 3 years of high school and how great everything was from than on. Then I told you about what I would like to do in my future. Thank

The United States of America was founded by a group of pilgrims that settled in the New World. One of these pilgrims, named George Washington, helped lead the settled pilgrims to freedom from Great Britain in 1776. In the years that followed this separation from Great Britain, many things changed for the pilgrims, including the development of a government controlled by the people with a new constitution that gave inalienable rights for the people of this new nation. In addition to this, the pilgrims learned how to cultivate peace and harmony with the Foreign World without risking European influence on their governmental structure. Another change that was made was fair and equal taxing upon its citizens. This taxation was necessary to ensure…

High school has definitely changed me. Before I came to BrewTech I was all over the place. I didn’t have my own identity. If others were wearing this, I was wearing it too. I had no hobbies, just several inactive dreams. I was pretty bland, actually. When I came to BrewTech, however, things quickly changed. I got tired of being a follower as soon as I stepped foot into the building.…

A bunch of my family members was at my graduation. They were very excited for me and cheering very loud because I was about to get my high school diploma. When I got to the gym, everybody was getting ready to walk to the football field. I was thinking that I had finally succeeded and reached the day I had been waiting on since ninth grade. I was happy that I finally reached my goal to graduate on the night that ended high school life and started my college life. There is so much that has happened in the last three, almost four, years of my life while attending Kalamazoo Central High School. I have gotten to know people, lost people, found out things about myself, I’ve had good times, and even some really devastating times. And even through all of the things that have happened they made me who I am today. There are somethings I wish I would have done differently with the time I’ve spent these last few years. So if I were given the chance to have lunch with my freshman self I would one, slap some sense into myself, and two really talk to myself about all the upcoming changes and how to handle them, advice on people and the situations I would be faced with, and people I should listen to because they know…

I am looking forward to describing my most memorable high school and college experiences. I would really love for my teachers to appreciate me for all the hard work I’ve done. For those people that didn’t know about my ambition and what it really meant to sacrifice, it meant a lot to my family. I’ve gotten involved in school activities, community service, and school events and a lot more. I felt that once I graduated from school I would be able to get involved with continuing education even more.…

During my freshman year, I had a lot going on personally. My parents got a divorce the summer before my freshman year, and I also transferred schools. I went through a huge transition with a new school and family life. I transferred to Algona High School my freshman year because I was getting bullied and picked on at my last school. When I first came here, I was struggling with the idea of being somewhere new. I was very nervous about making new friends because of my past experience at school. These two hardship made me become more independent and grow up a lot faster. It made me step out of my box and make new friends. The third hardship I had to go through was in my sophomore year; I lost one of my best friends to breast cancer. My aunt died in October of my sophomore year, and it had a huge effect on me. Her two boys and I were going through a very emotional time. I had to help take care of them and try to take care of myself on top of it. This hardship changed me a lot and taught me to live life to the fullest and to be a caring and loving person. These three hardships in my high school career has changed me for the…

For me, it all started on the first week of September. All I saw was these big guys playing basketball and soccer and I was wondering whether or not I will be able to fit in. Everyone else was eagerly waiting for the first school bell to ring after like 3 months of summer while I was just standing there looking everywhere as if I was lost. Eventually, all of these started to change as I started to know people better. Thing was, they weren’t as furious or mean as I thought they might be. In the beginning of the school year, I used to nervously switch classes without actually knowing where to go, but now I am familiar with this school like all the others. I managed to develop many new skills and stuff during grade 7. Before I knew it, it was June, grade 7 ended, and to my…

Going into freshman year, I thought high school seemed like the coolest thing to have ever happened. I walked the hallways with students who were practically a head taller than I was. Sports became a big deal, and school spirit became an essential part of life. As a freshman student, although part of the high school student body, I was still…

Like before I talked about how I was bummed for the first few months of school because I didn’t have any classes with my friends. I realized that I was perfectly fine the way it was in tenth grade because I was still able hang out with my friends during the sophomore lunch period because we were capable of having off-campus lunches unlike the sophomores this year who were incapable of having off-campus lunches ever again, it seemed like. I was also happy with what I had because not having the luxury gave me the opportunity to meet new students in my new classes. I have made it through the whole year to accept that what I had and have now has been easy and do-able.…

To begin with, high school parties were becoming the place to be, and I wanted to be in the center of it all. Unfortunately, my parents thought otherwise. Coming from a Hispanic background, I was brought up in a strict household. Even the slightest task that came my way became troublesome because of my restrictions. Whenever I would ask to go anywhere without parental supervision I would keep getting the same bland remark, no. I was becoming a social outlier, and was forced to find a way to become one of the “popular” kids. Nevertheless, my grades were nothing short of mediocre. My priorities were completely out of order. I cared much more about the gossip, and rumors fluttering around campus than what should have been my main focus. Consequently, my parents would bring up my poor academics as a reason for my punishment. Also, my best friend since preschool was becoming a negative influence on me. I noticed how much fun she was having and I wanted to have that enjoyment as well. This led me to break up with my boyfriend whom I had been dating for a year and a half. All of these events simultaneously spiraling out of control turned me into the person that I never thought Id become.…
