Farewell Speech
A very Good morning to respected principal, teachers and my dear friends

I’m really happy that I got a chance to speak to all my friends from college on this occasion

Today as I stand over here and look out to my wonderful friends a smile crosses my face with a tear in the eye.....

Two years ago our journey started at Clara’s college. We were not let down. Our professors inspired and challenged us throughout this quest to help us achieve our goals. We worked hard to get where we are today. Together we made it through a stream of midterms and finals, and here we are, down to this very last speech.

The strength of our class is very less, but the memories are countless. Strangers to each other we walked in and hand in hand we walk out from here.

Firstly the Naughty students of t.y.bmm would like to apologise with all our hearts to our dear principal ajay sir and our teachers who we’ve let down many times. Thanks for giving us a chance every time we let you down. Thanks for believing in us and supporting us in everything we did.

Our college has thought us a lot of things

It has taught us to lose and also enjoy winning.

Taught us to have faith in our own ideas, and to believe in one’s self

Taught us to be gentle with gentle people and tough enough to fight the world

It made us learned enough to step into the real world.

We would like to thank each and every member of this institute who has contributed in making a responsible person out of us. Thank you so much.

As we’ll walk out from here, the college walls bear the story of the most precious years of our life. Our hearts filled with the best memories we could ever make.

There were times we laughed, we cried, we screamed with joy. We participated as a team, won together, the feeling of victory, the excitement all these moments we’ve shared are just priceless.

The feeling of having wonderful people around us is very beautiful. But the pain of moving away from them is even greater.

Good evening everyone; teachers, faculty, family, friends, and the Walkerville graduating class of 2008! Wow. This day arrived so quickly – this final high school farewell seemed so distant, but it snuck up on us before we knew it. School is tricky like that; one hour and fifteen minutes can feel as long as “”, while the end of the school year can come around as fast as “Brandon Holland running the 200 meter dash. The other three years went by quickly, but none accelerated as much as this final school year. And what an amazing time it has been, Walkerville – from grade nine to now, the experiences have been unforgettable, and small wonder, considering how incredible this school is and the amazing students that make up this graduating class. There is no other school like Walkerville. it is the best high school in Windsor Essex county. Walkerville is in its own class altogether - When I look at this graduating class, I see a group of outstanding young adults. I see so much respect, acceptance, and just all around an extremely classy group of guys and gals. The talent here, especially in this senior year is phenomenal. This senior student body is made up of simply amazing actors, athletes, artists, dancers, writers, photographers, singers, really smart people, and musicians. But at Walkerville, the talent never stops at one category. To just name a few, athletes take art and dance classes, dancers play bassoon, artists sing, musicians participate in extreme stunts such as the four man piggyback, swimmers play piano, businessmen play broomball, historians write toxic love poems, and if you’re a male dancer, then you’re a hero in general. Moreover, this graduating class is a stellar example of how extraordinary ability can be combined with good character and school spirit. This senior year has constantly shown love for their school, simply by getting involved in any way possible. Helping out at events such as frosh day…

Four years ago we stepped into high school as individuals seeking to do well, to find our identity, to find our best friend. We opened our lockers for the first time, looked at our schedules, and thought about how awesome it was to finally be in high school. Four years ago we met our best friend, went to our first school dance, and had a crush on a cute senior. Four years ago, we couldn't wait to get older.…

Before I start with my speech, allow me to ask a very simple question. Have you guys ever complaint about your school, your teachers, or being a student? I bet almost 99.9% of you guys said yes. We actually complain a lot, over the smallest things and lack appreciation. And though this ceremony recognizes our efforts, it also recognizes and pays homage to the dedication of our parents and our teachers. We would not have been able to accomplish this much without their help. So today, in honor of all the students, thank you. You know, I never expected to be standing up here but here I am, giving this speech and probably doing a terrible job at it because if you couldn’t tell, I’m pretty nervous. But thanks to NAMS, it pushed me out of my comfort zone and onto this stage in front of all you wonderful people. Succeeding from middle school is no easy task, looking back it surprises me that I even made it this far. A famous author, Theodore Roosevelt, once said, “A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a collage education he may steal the whole rail road.” Even though we have a while to get a collage education, we’ve made it here, to the end of 8th grade. Just like a rail road the train has to be set on a good track, just like our education. So far for this 8th grade class, our tracks have been fantastic ever since we first started our journey. Our first stop was 6th grade. New building, new people, and it were a whole new environment. New fears emerged and I remember feeling like a fish out of the sea. The year went by and our next stop was 7th grade, which the teachers have been preparing us for. We came back much more confident than the year before. We looked down at the 6th graders and asked ourselves, “Were we that short just last year?” And by the end of 7th grade, we were on our way to 8th grade. The year started off at a sprint and it seems to have left many of us still trying to catch our breath but 8th grade is also the…

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,_____________________. I am honoured to be here as a valedictorian, representing the class of 2014/for this year’s speech day. When my teacher notified me that I was the valedictorian, I could not believe it at first. I was dumbfounded, and I did not know what to say during my speech. It had represented the culmination of years of our hard work, careful planning, and studiousness. We must say goodbye to the fun and excitement of college days and enter the real world. It seems like it was just yesterday that our class of 2011 walked in to John Glenn High School for the very first time as freshmen. I can still clearly remember how nervous and excited we all were to finally be with the “big kids.” Some of us were so scared we were sick, others were lost in the huge hallways amongst the tall crowd, and others were more ready than ever to go to each class that day. Honestly, it is hard to believe that that was four years ago, and here we are today reading our final speech assignments of high school to each other. In about a week, we will no longer be high school students, but instead we will be high school graduates and soon enough, college students. So as we longingly await May 21st, I will proceed with my final speech assignment about one of our very own classmates, Nicole Hentsch.…

The weeks leading up to graduation felt as if they could not go any slower. There was so much anticipation building up in all of the seniors, it seemed as if graduation was all that anyone could talk about. I remember sitting in English class with my friends and listening to our principal Mr. Lowery over the intercom “Class of 2011,” he began “It has been a long road for you guys but you have almost made it!” Listening to him speak reassured me that it was really happening, the moment was finally coming. It had seemed like yesterday I started Temecula Valley High School, getting lost looking for classes, trying to make new friends, and asking people for help. Finally, here it was, the day before graduation had come, Senior check out day. I woke up that morning and said to my self “This is the last day as a senior in high school.” I was pretty excited. Lunch time came at school and all the seniors rushed to the stadium to pick up their caps and gowns and attend graduation practice. Everyone was so excited that it was nearly impossible to keep any of us under control. After hours of practicing the line up for graduation we had finally mastered it and were sent home. On the way home that night all that was running through my mind was.... this is the end of a brand new beginning.…

The most important day of my life had just happened recently this year. The word graduation means more than a ceremony for me. It means changes in my life, to reach a higher stage of my life, the time to become a new person, the time to grow up, time to follow my dreams and separate responsibilities from fun. We have fought the fight, and we have overcome, and we took our final walk in the old stomping grounds. With the help of generous contributions from local companies and the hard work of the students made Graduation at Ramsey Field a reality.…

Words don’t come easy to me when it comes to speaking on an occasion like this. All throughout my school life, I’ve seen batches of students being bade farewell by the school and in all those times, I’ve feared the day when I’ll be among those stepping out of the doors of this institution for ever. Today, the time seems to have come for me too to make a transition from present to history.…
