I personally never experience psychotherapy before, however, I have research before the reasons why individual's decide to undergo treatment for psychotherapy. I have a brother that needs family therapy, due to the fact that we were raised without a father after we arrived in the United States. I have express numerous times the need for psychotherapy to gain an understanding of our feelings about our childhood and understand why we grow apart after adulthood. Unfortunatley, my brother haven't spoken to me for over five years now, but I try to reach out and in return no respond.
