The world is made up of many families. Everyone lives in a unique family, and tries their best to make their lives better. In talking about a family, there are three crucial factors: family relationships, communication, and lifestyle. Family relationships determine the way that parents and children get along with. Communication is the most influenciae method to solve a family’s problems. Family members’ characters are due to the kind of lifestyle they have. Parents should become good friends with their children not just take care of them. Good communications will bring happiness to a family. A positive lifestyle helps family members to develop good habits and characteristics. A good family is developed from good relationships, proper communication, and a positive lifestyle. Parents are the role models for their children. For example, teaching and playing with children can build a complete relationship. Nowadays, more and more family choose to teach their children at home, called homeschooling. Additionally, parents also become their children’s real teacher. Many educators think parents are not qualified to teach their children because they do not have academic knowledge, and appeal that children should study at school. Teaching of parents should concern about children’s characters and behaviors. Telling them the direction of being a good person and the behaviors that they should learn. According to Smokowski’s “Bullying in School”, “While discussing this topic with homeschoolers, it was agreed that they often feel inadequate because there is a subject that they do not feel qualified to teach, especially when the children reach the high school years." Parents can not replace the status of school, they may not have enough knowledge to teach their children.
