Family is where we all belong to and from where our identity comes from. A person is valued based on his family and upbringing. We all belong to a family and it is our family that keeps us together through thick and thin. Without having a family, no person is complete and the completeness comes with good family bonding. Now what is a family? By just saying that you live with your family does not hold any values to being a part of the family. Four or five persons living under one roof does not become a family. Family is a bond, a long lasting relationship that holds a bond with each other. It all forms when man and women become one and from there a family is born. There are many values that one has to learn to get the family bonding in the right manner. Bonding does not happen overnight. It forms with every second, every minute that you spend with your loved ones. The understanding, the acceptance, the belonging and the security all enclosed together is how a family bond is formed. In my view, family is also a unit that brings us into this world. It’s very difficult to overestimate importance of family, so all of us should be grateful to our families for all they have done for us. Families do their best to teach us all the skills that would help us to be successful in our lives. A close family bond is like a safe harbor, where we feel secure and where we trust that we have someone always there to whom we could turn to when we need them the most. This bonding helps to build a trust and hope that, no matter what, we have people to be with us in our toughest times. It is through a family that we learn the values of love, trust, hope, belief, cultures, morals, traditions and every little matter that concerns to us. A strong foundation for any individual comes from being with a supportive family. So, how to be a member of a happy family? First of all, you should make your family happy. Here are some useful tips how to have a happy family. Try to understand their feelings, they love you even when you keep on crying whole night, make them miss their parties, make home a mess or keep yelling. They love you without any conditions. Sometimes they want you to live life their way but the reason behind it is to make your future safe and happy. Try to think in a mature way and from your parents’ point of view. There is nothing wrong with showing respect to your parents. It will only bring smiles to their faces. Even if you don’t agree with their thinking, try to make them understand politely. Don’t use harsh words with them, which make them unhappy or hurt. Giving respect is the best way to make anyone happy; it cannot be compared with any precious gift. When you think about your parents’ life, you will understand that they feel lonely if you avoid them. Thus, try to take some time for your parents. Take them to some family get together, picnic or just spend time at home with lots of fun and positive energy around. Always celebrate your parents’ birthday or special events, and celebrate it with lots of love. You can take them out for dinner, buy gifts or just spend this special moment with them and make them realize that you care for them. Your parents have done a lot for you, that is the only reason that you are enjoying your life with a proper education and job. Parents do so much but never expect anything in return, so why not to say a thank you to them occasionally and show gratitude with a card, flower or a hug? This will surely bring you close to them and bring memories which your parents can cherish forever. As for me, I have a happy family. We have some traditions that make us more united. Family traditions are things that families do together on a regular basis. These things can be patterns of behavior, enjoyable activities or a certain food that a family likes. They can be repeated daily, weekly, monthly or once a year. It is important for families to observe their traditions even as their children get older, here are five...
