Faith Journed of Billy Joe Armstrong
Faith Journey of Billy Joe Armstrong Green Day is a popular punk rock band that is somewhat Christian. The lead Singer was grew up a Christian and attended church every Sunday, when the lead singer Billy was only 10 years old his father Andy Armstrong died of cancer, as his father lay in his death bed Billy prayed to God begging for him not to take his father away from him (as they were both very close with each other) but God knew it was his father’s time to join him in Heaven. When he accepted the fact that his father died he blamed it on God and strayed away from him for a while but then as he grew older he realized it was not Gods fault it was just his father’s time.
Faith in Action When Billy turned 16 he got involved with alcohol and drugs, he did not complete high school and dropped out senior year. Mike Dirnt is the bassist for Green Day and had been friends with Billy since childhood, they used to be called Sweet Children until their drummer quit on them, and that is when they met Tre Cool the current drummer for Green day and changed their name to Green Day. When Billy started Green Day with these guys he strayed to the path of God again. He made very poor choices in his life. Billy is a Christian and has done a few songs about God, one of them being The Saints are Coming performed live with the famous band U2. Billy Joe Armstrong has always believed in God and always

    Passing-Death of Clare

The death of Clare at the end of Nella Larsen’s Passing though left unclear was, in my opinion, caused by Irene pushing her out of the window. Nella Larsen does not specify what exactly happened, but Irene pushing Clare out of the window seems like the most plausible one. I don’t know whether Larsen intentionally left the ending so abruptly but I just feel as if Irene was the one to kill Clare. Larsen makes this point clear through the phrasing she uses when describing the self-esteem destruction Irene undergoes once Clare has reinserted herself into Irene's life, and the situations Irene finds herself as a direct result of Clare.…

I was young then but the memory is fresh in my mind and in the same year a boy whose home was near our school committed suicide by overdose and there was a lot of speculation that it could be due to low self esteem. This guy was very fat and not so good looking and others used to ridicule him but I know we are all made in the image of God and I think either his pals ridiculed him or something like that. Long ago people who killed others according to our custom were thrown in very steep rocks left to die and the hyenas feasted on them. There was no burial ceremony conducted for evil people as they were an abomination.…

The computer is a 20th century life saver and still is. This innovation changed the lives of people, businesses, and industries throughout the world. Computers have given us easy access to information and knowledge, and they have made countless jobs much faster and easier. The computer in its earliest form was not much more than a calculator, solving one problem at a time and answer every question in a click of a button. As the computer was improved various tasks could be performed and more data and information could be stored into the memory banks. Today's software makes computer use easy. Information can be shared and we can learn from each other in a quick, easy, and affordable manner. This would not be possible without electricity because it powers everything. You could not use the computer without electricity, work at night, heat your homes, couldn’t drive due to accidents without lights, and cannot use air condition. Without electricity it is almost impossible to live our daily lives. Now, we can work longer hours because we can see at night, use computers, watch TV, reduce accidents, and much more. The 20th century creations have really improved our lives and continues to help us achieve our goals and resources.. Things have changed so much that we can even repair these innovations if they were even to have problems, in the past the computer would have to be replaced and when power goes out they can be worked on. Computers and electricity were just many of the 20th century innovations, but in my opinion were the most effective and important.…
