Faith In Life Of Pi
Piscine Mortel’s story show us the importance of having faith, but to also to see the connection in everything. Pi shows us this through his findings about the importance of faith in his three oddly interconnecting religions Hinduism, Christianity, and Muslim. The importance of faith and understanding is also in part two of his story showing through his vivid and raw emotions that allows you to see a more of who Pi is. In Part his adult life we see that he has come almost to terms with who he is The point I am trying to prove is that Pi shows not only the importance of faith but also that things connect the same connection people commonly find religion.

The warm embraces of his tri religious house. In the end Pi’s story changes to humans the parallels uncanny and almost a revolting symbolism between the zebra and the chinese sailor, the hyena with no morals is the spineless cook and the motherly orangutan is his mother. Everything was a coping mechanism and he was the violent, passive ,watchful tiger. But this is only say it strengthen him and see the connection more in everything. “ I know a women here in Toronto who is very dear to my heart. She is my foster mother, when I first heard of Hare Krishnas, she didn't hear it right she heard hairless Christians. When I corrected her that it fact was not so wrong. The Hindus in their capacity for love, are indeed hairless christians, just as muslims, in the way they see God in everything are bearded Hindus, and Christians in their devotion to God, are hat-wearing muslims.
In conclusion Pi’s life is a story for us all showing connections in even the most disturbing moments of our lives. In truth this whole story could have been nothing more than Pi’s dehydrated brain coping with the blood and gore of not only seeing his mother’s death but also cannibalism he would soon have to do to survive. Now this will forever be sewed into his life his experiences in something even just as simple as the way he stocks his
