Fahrenheit 451 and Minority Report
The book Fahrenheit 451 and the movie Minority Report are similar in many different ways such as the main characters, they both change there opinions in the end and the technology.

The main character in Fahrenheit 452 and Minority Report are similar in many ways. In Minority Report, John goes against his job and same with Guy. John goes against the pre-crime while Guy goes against burning the books. They both have family troubles. John got a divorce with his wife and lost his son while Guy and his wife never talk to each other about there feelings.

In the beginning of both Fahrenheit 451 and minority report they were both with what they're jobs were but in the end they had different opinions. In Fahrenheit 451 he was for burning all the books but then as the story unfolds he changes his perspective and is against it. He thinks that it is wrong to burn the books because the books have opinions. In minority report he was for the pre-crime and the per-cogs then he goes against it because of the fact that in the future he kills some one so he thinks that there a minority and steals a pre-cog.

Fahrenheit 451 and Minority Report are both set in the future so they have similar technology. In both stories the technology wasn't perfect. In Fahrenheit 451 there was the mechanical hound, parlour walls and ear seashells. The parlor walls and the ear seashells are flawed because they were an alternate reality to the people in this book. They didn't care about anything that was happening unless they stated it. The new technology in Minority report was the pre-cogs. The flaws of the pre-cogs were that even though they showed a murder, there could have been a minority report and the murder wouldn't have actually happened. Because of this pre-crime stopped.

As you can see there are many similarities between the movie Minority Report and the book Fahrenheit

The novel Fahrenheit 451 demonstrates how people can influence one another into believing the same “theory.” This is shown all throughout this book because the main character Guy Montag who is a firefighter burns books as a part of his job, but what most don’t know is that he has his own collection hidden in his vents. Additionally, theme is represented well throughout this story. Theme is the main idea or underlying meaning of a literary work. This whole books revolves around the idea that books are evil. The government has imprinted this idea on the people, and this causes everyone to think that books are horrible and should be burned. Now this connects to the quote that John Keats says, because his quote is telling people that you shouldn’t be narrow-minded.
