Faerwald: A Narrative Fiction
“I-I didn’t do it sir. I can’t lie to you.It was Dorian, sir. He never liked my sister anyways. He always was planning to kill her. He thought about it all the time.”
The judge’s hammer slamming down rang throughout the courtroom.
Policemen came forward, handcuffing Faerwald. The murmuring of the court became clear to him now.
“He’s insane. Did you hear how he spoke? He obviously has something wrong with him.”
“The poor boyfriend. I wonder how this is for him.”
“Killing your own sister…. Sickening.”
“Absolutely disgusting. He’s lying even in court.” n-no...I’m not lying. I’m not. I’m not! I swear to you, I’m not!
A sudden surge of devastating emotions flooded his mind. His eyes, iris and all, began to glow a blaring white, and the lights began to flicker on and off.

He knew what was about to happen.
“I’m not bad...I’m not bad. I promise. I Promise… I PROMISE…” Faerwald began to repeat over and over again, blood slowly oozing out of his nose once more as the lights completely shut off. Items in the court room began to shake and groan, before being ripped from their placements and thrown around in a twister like manner. Faerwald could only let out a distressed cry. “Faerwald…?” a voice called to him. It was soft, and warm.
“Faerwald, please. Are you okay? You are speaking to yourself. You are okay. You are just hallucinating.”
His vision blurred. He could see in front of him, the worried expression of Avalon.
“Faerwald… You will be alright. I am here for you. Just please… Settle down.”
He immediately calmed. He looked at her with scared eyes.
“Are you

The guards largely have no answers for the things that K. is asking of them, simply stating that he is guilty because the Law itself is attracted to guilt. They are just “lowly employees” and implicitly believe that who they are arresting is guilty because it has been determined by “higher authorities”. They are simply disinterested with the why of his arrest and largely his guilt, affirming he is guilty among his protests of innocence. The notion that the Law itself is attracted by the guilty is strange to me. By saying that, he infers that in one way or another because K. is deemed guilty, he would end up arrested by the guards, his fate was determined the moment…

Osomatsu lied idly on the futon, glad for the peace and quiet. Even though, it was temporary. He sighed, wiping the tears from his face. He was a disgrace, a burden, trash. No, he was lower than trash--scum, that was the appropriate word. A part of him wanted to get caught, so that this madness would end, another just wants to pay these people back so that everything could return to normal again. He couldn't shake off the cashier's face from his mind, how terrified she was.…
