- According to the World Bank, the demand for services is on the rise with increases in income, as people are becoming less concerned about material needs.
- In the consumer sector, this leads to increasing demand for services such as health, education and entertainment (travel one place to other place-tourism-using airlines such as Airasia).


Increase of products/ services
- By producing more and variety of services to attract consumers/ customers to try something new and to be more confident to use the service from the organization.
- In 2012, Asia’s largest low-cost carrier confirmed another 100 Airbus A320 which further acknowledges its dominance in Asia to have a record 475 narrow bodies on order with Airbus.
- This such order is part of the AirAsia Group’s regional strategy to continue placing the airline ahead of competition regionally with its extensive growth through new routes, added frequencies and remain the most profitable low cost carrier in Asia.


Low cost operations
 Air Asia’s fares are significantly lower than those of other operators.
 This service targets guests who will do without the frills of meals, frequent flyer miles or airport lounges in exchange for fares up to 80% lower than those currently offered with equivalent convenience.
 Ticketless airlines- Less hassle for the customer, who doesn't have to worry about collecting tickets before travelling, and costeffective for the airlines (paper, printing, distributing). 
