Facility Planning-Part II
The Township of Bloomfield New Jersey is in the process of building a new family health care clinic. In the past few years the city of Bloomfield, which is located in Essex County has grown smaller in population, but increased in healthcare needs since the average facility in town is for specialty services, hospital or for age specific clinics such as adults or pediatrics. They are building new homes, apartment buildings, condos and healthcare facilities to accommodate the needs of the citizens of Bloomfield. The new healthcare facility will be a great asset to our community because patients of all ages can receive healthcare services without having to drive too far or visit more than one facility to receive care for each family member due to age. The community believes it would be great to build a new facility versus remodeling an old building because it was determined to be most cost efficient and it guarantees meeting all necessary guidelines. With any new building or facility planning it requires quite a few details. This paper will discuss the community’s need for the family clinic facility, the population it is serving and attached will be the link of my facility design.

The new local stores have also helped to decrease unemployment rates since now young adults or college students can work closely or near campus. With the new healthcare facility it will offer more jobs to health employees and healthcare services for everyone in the community. The new
