When I got home from college on Friday, I went to my friend’s house to hang out for a couple hours. There were a whole crowd of us so I took this as a good opportunity to due this assignment. I just sat and paid close attention to how they were speaking with each other. My friend Zach and Jake for example, were just sitting next to each other talking about guitars. Jake didn’t know what Zack was talking about so Zack was explaining how to play a guitar. Zack seemed to be using a lot of hand motions and showing examples of songs to play. Jake had his listening face on so he was making direct eye contact as Zack spoke to him. What Jake is doing could be an example of the facial primacy, and could also be using oculesics.
