When I think of FIU Honors, I think of home: a place of nurturing, acceptance, and inspiration. An environment of unparalleled success, where students are challenged daily to excel academically and personally. Due to its prestige as one of the nation’s leading business schools, FIU lies at the top of my list along with its Honors College. As an accounting major, I’m attracted to FIU Honors because it is educating tomorrow’s socially responsible leaders. I seek to join the Honors College due to its challenging curriculum, passionate instructors, cohort setting, and multicultural study abroad programs.

    The Honors Program grabbed my attention because it’s for academically outstanding students and I am that student. Throughout my years of high school, I have taken Advanced Placement and Honors classes and have done very well in them.
