Did you know that 50% of animal fur comes from China, where there are no animal cruelty laws. Animal cruelty is a world-wide problem that existed for thousands of years, there are two types of cruelty; unintentional and intentional, either way is act of crime and non excusable. Although many people don’t view animal cruelty as a crime, imagine yourself in their place and see how much you like it. This topic is important to me because I am a animal lover who is very sensitive to animal cruelty as well as my mom and my sister. People should take this into consideration because animals can’t speak for themselves so it’s in my interest to speak up for them.

Millions of animals experience physical abuse every second along with verbal abuse but it’s less likely to hurt an animal. Studies show that many pet owners unintentionally abuse their animals and most of the times don’t even realize they’re doing it. It’s more likely for a pet owner to abuse their animals by disciplining them, for instance a pet owner could be teaching her dog to eat its’ dog food so the owner will starve her pet until she learns to eat it’s dog food. Another way of abuse is just taking your anger out on your pet. The owner mybe mad at something and the poor animal has to put up with it and may even have the owners’ anger taken out on them.
